Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)

Blepharoplasty surgery, sometimes referred to as eyelid surgery, repairs droopy eyelids and may involve removing excess skin, muscle, and fat. As you age, your eyelids stretch, and the muscles supporting them weaken.

Blepharoplasty procedures can be done on both the upper and lower eyelids. Hooded or heavy upper eyelids can be lifted and refined to brighten their appearance. Puffy or hollow under-eyes can be smoothed to blend youthfully into the cheek.

Blepharoplasty also helps improve self-confidence. With greater confidence, you may benefit from a better quality of life due to: improved social skills, improved confidence in dating & relationships, and be open to new career opportunities in a way you’ve never been before.

Other common blepharoplasty benefits include:

  • Reduced eye bags under your eyes.
  • Improved vision by expanding your line of sight.
  • Improved appearance by enhancing the eye shape.
  • Reduce skin irritation by removing any excess skin around the eyes.
  • Achieve a rested & refreshed appearance.
  • Remove the dark circles under your eyes.
  • Reduce any muscle straining & discomfort by lifting sagging skin in the eyelids.
  • Enhance the balance between your other facial features.
  • Improved overall facial aesthetic.
